.:: Updates during research projects

Unlike many of my fellow researchers I have always provided e-mail updates during the course of long term research projects, i.e. those amounting to over £25.00 and upwards. However due to some over demanding customers who ask for updates within two days of sending a payment etc. I have been forced to implement a fee for each e-mail.

I would like to reiterate that many other researchers ask customers to wait for their report and documents at the end of research and this is understandable. Most of us have over 25 clients and ten e-mails plus a report can take one whole day to complete; if we're spending two or three days a week sending out updates and writing reports then when do we get a chance to actually go out researching!

New fee for sending e-mail updates: £2.50 per e-mail.

The other enforced change is when customers ask to be sent documents during the course of research, I will no longer be sending out documents until all research has been completed unless for a further fee to cover the inconvenience.

New fee for sending out documents before research has finished: £10.00 per set of documents.

These new fees are very steep, but they are not designed to be mercenary instead they have been initiated to serve the best interest of all customers as well as myself (so that I do not find myself writing e-mails at 11 o'clock Sunday night!). They are specifically designed to discourage certain clients from dominating proceedings :).

Customer's excluded from e-mail updates fee

Clients of two years standing or more.

Clients who have bought 'Complete Family Tree' packages are excluded from paying for updates, as these are automatically included in the price. However they cannot receive documents early.
